The Roaring Twenties: The Compounding Age

All things 1920s are making a comeback on Sunday, May 18, 2014. Celebrate the glitz and glamour
at The Roaring Twenties: The Compounding Age – the theme for IACP’s Foundation 10th Annual Rx Mixer,
a fundraising event held in conjunction with IACP’s Annual Compounders on Capitol Hill.

Join us for an evening of delicious food and festive cocktails, Live and Big Board Auctions, Treasure Boxes, casino
gaming and dancing. Dress in your 1920s-inspired cocktail attire and get ready for a jazzy and elegant affair to
help fund the Foundation’s research and education initiatives! Enjoy fellowship with pharmacists and pharmacy
technicians from around the country while benefiting the IACP Foundation.

Fund-the-Future Scholarship

Winners Selected!

The IACP Foundation’s Fund-the-Future program raises monies to bring pharmacy students to the one
of the most important events in pharmacy compounding – Compounders on Capitol Hill. Your donation
provides pharmacy students a scholarship to attend its annual meeting of Compounders on Capitol Hill,
being held May 17–20, 2014, in Washington, D.C.

Scholarships, valued up to $2,500 each, will cover the following expenses:

• One full registration to attend Compounders on Capitol Hill 2014
• Three nights of hotel accommodations
• Round–trip economy class airfare for one person
• Up to $250 in travel expenses: transportation, parking & meals not covered by registration

IACP Foundation Purpose

The IACP Foundation serves as the charitable extension of IACP and is used to conduct educational
and scientific programming and research.

Your gift of any amount to the Annual Fund is a direct investment in the Foundation’s efforts
to escalate the positive impacts of compounding pharmacy through:

  • Funding innovative programs and research initiatives that enhance the quality, safety,
  • responsiveness, and credibility of compounding pharmacy;
  • Encouraging curricular endorsement of the fundamental proficiencies essential to
  • compounding pharmacists through alliances with educational institutions and accreditation bodies; and
  • Sponsoring public education programs that aspire to acquaint health care professionals
  • and the public with the services and issues related to pharmacy compounding.

How Does Your Gift Help?

Since 2005, the IACP Foundation has awarded more than $238,000 for studies researching
compounded preparation potency and stability and outcomes of treatment with compounded medications.
