A Message from the President

Yeehaw!  The Rx Mixer 2016: Saddlin’ Up for Research and Education was another rousing success.  This year it was held in the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown on Sunday, June 12th in Washington D.C.  The Rx Mixer Committee, chaired by Erin Michael, was able to raise $163,000!

We are already starting to plan for the IACP Foundation’s 13th annual fundraiser, the Rx Mixer 2017.  Save the date, the Rx Mixer will be held on Sunday, June 11th in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Wardman Park during the annual Compounder’s on Capitol Hill (CCH) meeting of IACP.    We have an aggressive goal of raising $200,000 to support our efforts in research and education.

Keep your eyes peeled! We will be issuing a Student Travel Grant for pharmacy students to attend the joint ACA/ACVP/IACP Educational Conference 2017 in San Diego, CA.  Details coming soon!

Students are my passion, and they are our profession’s future! Help us reach them and get them involved, and help them advance the profession. Thanks to all who have donated and helped raise money to support having pharmacy students attend these amazing meetings and Board meetings.  They have learned a tremendous amount about how important it is for them to be involved in professional organizations.

Thank you!
