Please provide a statement of why you want to serve.

For me, compounding is not just a segment of my pharmacy’s business, it represents the values which make me proud to be a compounding pharmacist.  When members of my immediate family had health complications for which my physician friends had no answers, compounding offered options that changed their lives.  Those experiences ignited my passion for this industry.

We are lucky to be in a business which can make such a difference in the lives of so many people.  As we make faster and broader strides in the evidence based integrative medicine discipline, there will be an increasing demand for personalized medicine.  I also anticipate a possible expansion of our role within the delivery of traditional medical care.  It is our duty to preserve patient choice and access to quality compounding pharmacies.

As IACP continues to fight for that access, it would truly be an honor to represent fellow compounders as a board member.
