A Message from your IACP Foundation President

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our 11th Annual Rx Mixer and our Fund-the-Future Program a gigantic success during Compounders on Capitol Hill (CCH) held in Washington, D.C., June 6 - 9, 2015. Your generosity helped us bring deserving pharmacy students to this phenomenal event. Something they will never forget!

Christopher "Blake" Cogdill, Loren Kirk, Jigarkumar "Jigar" Satasia, Derrick Waller and Maria Zhou hit the ground running, even volunteering at Rx Mixer after a full day at CCH. Their enthusiasm and willingness to make the best of their award was definitely noticed. They are the future of the pharmacy profession!

The students' Capitol Hill Day visits were extremely well received by our congressional representatives who were so pleased to have college students from their respective states in their offices. Click here to read more about these students and the Fund-the-Future Program.

To everyone who helped make Rx Mixer one of the most successful in our event's history - thank you, thank you. Your dedication to the IACP Foundation and Rx Mixer, our Party with a Purpose, is gratifying. We really couldn't do this without you.

Again. Thank you,

Lisa D. Ashworth, BS Pharm, RPh
IACP Foundation President

The event raised more than $206,000, generating the second highest result in the 11-year history of Rx Mixer.

Since the first Rx Mixer fundraiser held in 2005, compounders and supporters of the compounding pharmacy profession have generously contributed more than $1.8 million to IACP Foundation's educational and research mission.
