New Rules Regarding Reporting of CEUs to the CPE Monitor Data BaseEffective May 1, 2014 all ACPE-accredited providers have 60 days after the CPE activity participation date to upload the participant credit into CPE Monitor. The provider must upload the participant information 60 days from the date the participant completed the CPE activity. This applies to all CPE activities: live, internet-based, and home-study articles.
To facilitate these new rules and ensure timely upload of all participant credits to CPE Monitor, the following changes apply to the issuance of continuing education credits by IACP.
1. Participant credit will only be awarded upon successful completion of all online session evaluations:
a. For Live Conferences: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within two weeks after the date of the live activity.
b. For Live IACP Regional Education Meetings: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within two weeks after the date of the live activity.
c. For Live IACP AdvanCE Webinars: The participant must complete the online session evaluation form within one week after the date of the live activity.
d. For Self-paced IACP AdvanCE Webinars: The participant must submit the post-activity online session evaluation prior to the expiration date of the activity.
2. Paper statements of credit will no longer be issued. All credit awarded by ACPE-accredited providers to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians must be via CPE Monitor. If participants would like a paper statement of credit, they may print an individual statement of credit or a transcript from their NABP e-profile.
All continuing pharmacy education credits awarded by IACP will be uploaded within 40 days of the completion of the activity. Please monitor your NABP e-Profile account for accuracy. If you do not see CPE activity displayed for a session that you attended and it has been more than 40 days since you submitted the CPE to the provider, please contact your CPE provider.
