HR 3204 to Go to Floor Vote With Only One Amendment
IACP has learned that Senator Reid formally has requested unanimous consent to bring HR 3204 to a floor vote with only one amendment. The amendment is unrelated to the compounding or track-and-trace language; rather, it is about the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Assuming agreement, the bill may be voted on tomorrow's (10/31/13) schedule.
IACP will keep you apprised of any developments.

The Majority Leader would like unanimous consent to proceed to H.R. 3204, the Drug Quality and Security Act, with limited time agreement on the bill, with the only amendment in order the Vitter amendment relating to Obamacare exchanges. That the Senate then proceed to a roll call vote on the Vitter amendment with it subject to a 60 affirmative vote threshold, that upon the disposition of the Vitter amendment, the Senate proceed to vote on passage of the bill.
