Session Highlight: Being a Good Advocate for Compounding with Christopher Kush, MPP, Soapbox Consulting
Join your fellow compounders in Washington, D.C., this June! The 19th Annual Compounders on Capitol Hill (CCH) will be held June 1-4, 2013 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. Located only two miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), the Crystal Gateway Marriott offers immediate lobby access to Washington, D.C.’s world-famous Metro system and a quick ride to all the museums, sights, restaurants, and even the Capital.
On Monday, June 3 from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Christopher Kush, MPP with Soapbox Consulting returns to speak on Being a Good Advocate for Compounding. Sometimes it isn’t what you say, it’s HOW you say it! While pharmacists are experts in medication management, most of us aren’t the best when it comes to putting our needs and issues into short and concise words and phrases. To better gain the support of legislators at the local, state and federal level, this interactive skill-building session will provide you with the practical skills to get your message across…and obtaining the action you want! If you’re attending Hill Day, you will receive your appointment sheet during the session.
Compounders on Capitol Hill will offer a total of 17.0 contact hours (1.7 CEUs) of continuing education credit and attendees may acquire up to 11.0 contact hours (1.1 CEUs) of continuing education credit. Hear from Christopher Kush and many other experts in pharmacy compounding at Compounders on Capitol Hill.
