The Fla. Board of Pharmacy has met several times in November and December to initiate a review of all existing compounding practice regulations for both resident and non-resident pharmacy permit holders. An emergency rule on November 26, 2012 required the completion and return of a compounding activity survey by all Florida permit holders by December 11, 2012.
Additionally, the emergency rule also required that all non-resident pharmacy permit holders provide copies of their two most recent inspection reports from the state in which their pharmacy is physically located. The inspection reports must be sent to the Board of Pharmacy no later than December 11, 2012. Click here for more information.
