Welcome to IACP!

We are delighted to welcome you as a member of the only professional association devoted to the science and art of customized medications a rapidly growing part of patient care. As one of our newest student pharmacist members, I want to thank you for recognizing the unique role that compounding has in your professional development.

More importantly, I wanted to take just a moment to let you know of some specific programs IACP has for you.


Annual Student Writing Competition
The IACP Foundation established the Annual Student Writing Competition to recognize outstanding original papers on pharmacy compounding. Three winners are selected by a review committee from the papers submitted. The winners of this writing competition each receive a $500 cash prize.

All pharmacy students are encouraged to compete. If you are a pharmacy student preceptor, please ensure that each of your students knows about this great opportunity to actively participate in the compounding profession. Click here for more information.

Add Your Ideas to the Conversation at the Science and Practice Poster Presentation Showcase!
The 2013 Educational Conference will feature the first annual Science and Practice Poster Presentation Showcase. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind, 3-in-1 conference that brings the pharmacy profession together in paradise. For the very first time, the American College of Apothecaries (ACA), the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) and the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists (ACVP) are joining forces to bring you an extraordinary Educational Conference, February 6-9, 2013 at the luxurious St. Regis Monarch Beach resort in Dana Point, California.

All pharmacy professors and pharmacy students/residents are encouraged to participate in the Science and Practice Poster Presentation Showcase at this multi-organization conference. Students can build their portfolio, get published, gain contacts, and network with potential future employers from three leading pharmacy organizations.
