IACP Submits Comments on Proposed Changes to 201 KAR 2:076

The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) has submitted comments to the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy regarding proposed changes to 201 KAR 2:076.

Excerpt: IACP understands and supports the need to protect public health. However, when proposing changes to rules, it is essential that the Board considers the financial impact on Kentucky pharmacies and how these changes could negatively impact patient care. Specifically, the adoption of USP Chapter <800> presents challenges which could be difficult or impossible to meet financially by the June 1, 2018 implementation date.
