The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) today has filed comments on FDA's "Repackaging of Certain Human Drug Products by Pharmacies and Outsourcing Facilities" draft guidance.

"IACP submits our comments on the Food and Drug Administration's withdrawal of a proposed rule and publication of a new proposed rule entitled, 'Repackaging of Certain Human Drug Products by Pharmacies and Outsourcing Facilities,' as part of the agency's ongoing implementation of 503A and 503B of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. As FDA considers the implementation of this draft guidance, the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) appreciates the opportunity to share our perspectives and to work with FDA in the future on this very important issue."
