Grant Proposals

The IACP Foundation is tasked with seeking proposals for funding consideration. Proposals are considered on a case-by-case basis and funding may be awarded in whole or in part. A maximum of $10,000 is available per proposal for research conducted at or in conjunction with an academic institution.

Grant proposals should focus on the safety and efficacy of compounded preparations in an effort to create

a national repository of compounded preparation information. The categories include but are not limited to BHRT, ENT, Infection, Nootropics, Pain, Wound, Scar, Hospice, Palliative Care and Veterinary.

Meta – Analysis: Produce literature evaluations regarding the safety and efficacy of compounded preparations in a particular category. The final list of literature evaluated must be submitted in an Excel format.

Clinical Applications: Conduct a practice-based therapeutic study using one or more compounded preparations. The BUD of any compounded preparation used must include the formulation and BUD reference material.

The IACP Foundation is not seeking proposals for funding consideration at this time. The IACP Foundation is not issuing an RFP for the Fall 2016 cycle.

Since 2005, IACP Foundation has awarded more than $275,000 in grants to academicians and practitioners. The IACP Foundation strongly believes pharmacy compounding research is vital to further exemplifying the role of pharmacy in personalized medicine.
